2008

On April 23, 2008, I was able to convince opposing counsel to have her client withdraw her Petition for Protection from Abuse filed in Doylestown.

On April 17, 2008 a client of ours came in to sign his estate planning documents, just two days after his appointment.

FOURTH QUARTER, 2007

The highlight of our fourth quarter occured in December ,2007, when we settled a trip and fall case against a super- large apartment complex in Bucks County for six figures( _000,000). It was our largest award of the year. Needless to say, our client was happy with the settlement and with our 25% contingency fee.

THIRD QUARTER, 2007

On September 18. 2007 we obtained a $15,000 award in a dispute involving the return of deposit money pursuant to a real estate agreement of sale. We represented the Buyer who claimed that the sale had "sellers remorse". The award represents a complete vindication for our client.

FIRST QUARTER, 2006

On January 10, 2006, we obtained a divorce decree for a 66 year old gentlemen, in 3 months, beginning to end! He had been seperated since 1986. He paid less than $700.00 upfront.

On January 9, 2006, we tried a landlord/tenant case which had been appealed by the tenant, in the Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County. Judge Blasi took the matter under consideration. We expect to receive his favorable ruling by the 17th of January.

On January 6, 2006, we settled, in court, a real estate dispute involving the return of an $8,000 good faith deposit. Our client, the Buyer, was unable to obtain a mortgage, and the Agreement of Sale was contingent upon the buyer obtaining financing.

Recently, we settled a slip and fall case that happened less than 1 year ago, for $15,000. Our fee is only 25%, or $3750.00. Most lawyers charge 33 1/3% or more!

THIRD QUARTER, 2005 HIGHLIGHTS

On August 16, 2005, Larry Lefkowitz went to court to fight for a 51 year old man who was injured in an automobile accident in December, 2002. The insurance company had offered $4,000. The court awarded $22,500!

On August 3, 2005, we obtained a divorce for a 31 year old gentlemen, seperated 2 years, in LESS THAN 3 MONTHS! He contacted our office from out of state. He was referred to us by his brother, a former client. After we obtained his marriage certificate, we filed his complaint, served his wife, prepared and filed all the necessary paperwork, and got it done as quickly as possible. We never met in person and he never had to go to court.

On July 27, 2005, we obtained a divorce for a 45 year old man, seperated 12 years. He had previously started the divorce, with another attorney, in 2000. We reinstated the complaint, personally served his wife with her papers and got it all done in 3 MONTHS!

FIRST QUARTER, 2005 HIGHLIGHTS

On January 6, 2005, our office settled a worker's compensation claim by way of a Compromise and Release Agreement. We settled the claim for the full amount!

On January 19, 2005, our office obtained a judgment for our contractor client against the homeowners for the full amount of his outstanding bill for a bathroom renovation.

On February 8, 2005, our office obtained a judgment for the full amount in favor of our car owner client who sued the owner of the auto repair shop whose mechanic was negligent while working on his car.

On September 27, 2004 our office spent several hours at an arbitration hearing representing the purchasers of a mobile home, in a dispute over money damages. The case had previously been mediated and tried in District Justice Court. The clients were very pleased with our represenation, specifically how we stood up for them!

On October 12, 2004, our office represented a husband at a Master's Hearing in Support. We were able to get his support obligation reduced by $200.00 per month. (The $500.00 fee we charged will be made up in only 2 1/2 months!)
